I’ve really been thinking about this series and honestly it deserves another season.
Faithful Women of the Bible tells these stories from the perspective of the women and that alone makes it powerful because it highlights faith, motherhood, sacrifice, and strength in a way we don’t always see.
At first some people might feel like the acting is a bit cliché or that they’ve heard these stories before, but if you really pay attention there’s so much depth here. I would honestly rate it a 10 out of 10.
Take Sarah’s story for example. Not everyone realizes the level of faith she had. From the situation with Pharaoh to her decision to give Hagar as a surrogate under agreement, it shows how complex her journey was. Even Hagar’s encounter with the angel and being told to return speaks to how everything was part of a bigger plan.
Many years later Sarah laughs at the promise but still becomes a mother and declares that nothing is impossible for God. That alone is powerful.
Looking at Rebekah too, she carried a prophecy within her — two nations in her womb. Even when there was conflict with Isaac’s expectations she stood on what God revealed to her. That shows how women in the Bible played major roles in shaping what we know today.
This series really shows that these women were not just background characters — they were central to God’s plan.
And that’s why I believe it should continue. There are still so many stories to tell, like Leah and Rachel, and I would love to see them explored more deeply.
This is definitely a 10 out of 10 for me and I truly hope it gets renewed for another season.
