Igbo comments are disgusting and discourage me from watching. Tribalism has rotted you guys. You even say ‘Yoruba movie’ not ‘Nigerian movie’ and rubbish people’s work, claiming Yoruba movies are bad but Igbo is better. Continue disgracing yourselves; the world is seeing who you truly are. The xenophobia in South Africa and Ghana was fueled by you. God will punish you. I am not Yoruba, but I think I have started hating Igbo because all these comments come from Igbo people.
What a great movie, reminding us of whom we were before the colonial era. And we were connected to God before Christianity came to bastardized our connection to God the Creator and disconnected us from our root.. Kudos to the film makers.. one thing I’ve come to know is, God doesn’t mingle in the affairs of man that’s why we have brain to think, it’s only where all man efforts failed that God shows up. Just as what we’ve seen in the movie

The Yorubas have a saying…. if the home field death doesn’t unalive you, the street deaths won’t get the chance.
There is always an inside man doing the enemy’s dirty work inside the home camp. Shame!
This was a historical Yoruba storytelling epic. It’s not for everyone.
I watch them because I want to see historical stories shot with somewhat advanced ai effects. During a fight scene, a female character with water attribute from the goddess Osun was water bending, it was hilariously bad. They have to work on that.
It was mildly interesting nothing special. 3 out of 5 stars.
